Interactive map practice
The map is the centre of GeoBlitz. In some modes you type answers and watch countries fill in; in others you are given a prompt and must click the correct country directly.
This turns geography into a spatial exercise, which is more useful than memorising a flat list of names.
When to use click modes
Click modes are especially good when you already know country names but struggle to place them accurately. They also make small countries and dense regions easier to study because you can zoom and focus on a specific area.
Practice tips
- Use click-the-country mode to test location knowledge.
- Zoom in for Europe, the Caribbean, and microstates.
- Combine map clicking with typed country quizzes for balanced practice.
