Use regions before the whole world
The fastest way to learn all countries is to divide the map into smaller regions. Start with Europe or South America, then move into Africa, Asia, North America, and Oceania. This keeps each session focused and reduces blank-map overwhelm.
Memorise clusters, not isolated names
Countries are easier to remember in groups: the Balkans, the Baltics, the Gulf states, Central America, the Caribbean, and Pacific island nations. GeoBlitz is especially useful because the visual gaps on the map show exactly which cluster you have forgotten.
Repeat weak regions immediately
After a full-world attempt, do not simply restart. Identify the region where most missed countries are clustered, practice that region, then return to the full map.
Suggested practice loop
- Play one full-world count-up round.
- Write down the regions with the most missed countries.
- Practice those regions individually.
- Replay the full-world round under a countdown timer.
